Problem solving is deeply ingrained in the maths and sciences, but these areas are not the only parts of college, or our lives, where having problem solving skills is useful.  Along our educational journey, we want to practice identifying and breaking down problems, being resourceful and persistent, as well as analyzing our results.  Even in math, creativity drives progress towards solving problems and finding the most efficient ways to reach our goals.  In this session, we will take a look at problem solving from multiple points of view, discuss its importance and related skills, and outline some strategies to help us solve whatever problems college and life throw our way.
